Back in early December I visited Alabama Vein & Restoration Medspa and was introduced to a line of products called iS Clinical. After using this skincare line for a few months, I wanted to follow up with a review of the products, a recap of the facial I received, and my overall personal experience. During my visit to Alabama Vein Center I received a treatment that they call ‘The Fire & Ice Facial.’ This facial is designed to rapidly and safely resurface and rejuvenate the skin with little to no down time. It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves the look of uneven skin tone and blemish-prone skin, resulting in a more youthful complexion. The facial itself can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes and is a combination of seven different iS Clinical products.

I can honestly say I had an overall incredible experience from start to finish. It was such a relaxing facial and I felt completely pampered. They even let me try out the LightStim which I highly recommend trying out if you haven’t already. Throughout the duration of the facial the iS Clinical rep explained the science and purpose behind each product, which I really appreciated. They walked me through each step of the process and it was fun learning more about what each product was doing for my skin. I voiced the concerns I had about my skin and they helped explain which products I should be using. I could definitely feel each product working and changing my skin during the application. I also quickly realized why exactly the facial was named fire and ice, as there was a period where I experienced sensations of both cooling and then mild heat. Before receiving the treatment I was definitely a bit hesitant and unsure of how I would like it. This was mainly because a few months prior to my appointment, I started having random hormonal related breakouts on my face. In the past, a lot of times when I break out and then receive a facial, I leave with my skin looking even worse than before. I’ve learned that my skin tends to react poorly to new products when it’s already irritated. I was pleasantly surprised that after receiving this facial, that was not the case at all. I left with my face looking noticeably brighter and drastically less inflamed. I was so impressed with the results that I agreed to take home my very own skincare regimen of iS Clinical products to continue using in my everyday skincare routine.

Over the next few months I began exclusively using iS Clinical products every day. I wanted to feel confident that I truly loved them before sharing my opinion. Here are the products that I’ve been using and my routine:

Step 2 - Apply the Youth Eye Complex (AM + PM)

Step 3 - Apply the Pro Heal Serum Advance

Step 4 - Apply Moisturizing Complex (AM)

Step 5 - Apply the Hydra-Cool Serum (PM)

Step 6- Apply Extreme Protect SPF 30 [Tinted]

After using these products for a few months I can now honestly say that they really work and have noticeably changed my skin for the better. This line is backed by science and called innovative skin care for good reason. I’m not only seeing less breakouts, but the acne scarring, discoloration, and dark spots from past breakouts have lightened up and almost completely disappeared. My skin texture + tone looks a lot more even and I’ve gotten handfuls of compliments about how my skin appears almost “glowing” at times. I definitely recommend trying out the iS Clinical line, treating yourself to a Fire & Ice Facial or at least consulting with Alabama Vein Center about the products.
