GUEST BEDROOM REVEAL + PAINTING AN ACCENT WALL

ALL BEDROOM DETAILS LINKED HERE!

As most of you probably already know, I recently purchased my first home! Being a homeowner is so fun already and I’ve been diving into all the home projects. When I used to rent the house that I now own, I always had a roommate that lived downstairs so I wasn’t able to decorate that space to my liking. Now that the house is all mine, I have an entire finished basement to play around with. The basement consists of a bathroom, laundry room, 2 bedrooms, a small office and a living room. The first project I wanted to complete was the guest bedroom so that I would have a cozy spot for friends to stay when they come visit. I decided that I wanted to paint an accent wall behind the bed to mix things up with all the white I already have going on in the house. I got the paint job quoted and decided to do it myself to save money. The entire paint project only cost me around $100 opposed to the $400ish to hire a professional. I decided on the paint color dark pewter By Benjamin Moore so that the gold wall accents and bed frame would POP against it. The only supplies needed were those pictured below. We only painted one layer and I absolutely love how it turned out. Keep scrolling for before & after photos of the space!
